reinventing the wheel - kind of...

first off, velocity has managed to make me fall in love with some sort of metallic eggplant colour. genius. if katie doesnt get these, i certainly am.

second off, level has gone ahead and reinvented the fixed gear hub. three screws and you're set apparently. no lockring involved. i would think if the screws ever came a little loose it would destroy that cog pretty quickly...but i'm hope they thought this through before introducing it to the market.
